STRATEGY Idexx asked Eclipse to develop a unique, low cost, environmentally friendly handheld chemistry test housing for in-lab analysis. |

SUCCESS Using design cues that Eclipse established on Idexx instrumentation residing in the labs, Eclipse was able to tie in the new form of the device with the instrumentation design language providing a natural ergonomic design while heralding the Idexx brand. Innovative use of materials allowed a unit to conveniently snap together trapping a simple die cut PET window with an integral trigger that closed the sample wells eliminating the concern of contamination. |
